The best-attended event in the group's history, with 84 people at DigitYser.
Justin Ehrenhofer gave a broad presentation covering the history of privacy and fungibility in Bitcoin, the various approaches proposed to address them, and how Monero achieves its privacy in detail, including the next steps in development and the limitations compared with other coins. A Q&A followed.
Monero is unlinkable and untraceable, with transactions private by mandate rather than by opt-in. Since its April 2014 launch the project has worked on protecting both transaction privacy and the fungibility of the monetary units.
The event was hosted by DigitYser and sponsored by XMR.TO, who provided pizza.
That 84 people turned out for a technical talk on privacy technology says something about what this community is actually interested in.
We are bringing you the perfect combination of content and experience to ignite your heart, equip your mind and spark your skills.
